Starting at 6.45am, this event will provide you with knowledge and tools to navigate a forecasted economic downturn in 2023. Joining us as guest speakers on the morning will be Andrew Eves-Brown, the Head of Economic Development at Sunshine Coast Council and Brett Mills, Dealer Principal at Ken Mills Toyota.

As Head of Economic Development at the Sunshine Coast Council, Andrew Eves-Brown will provide insight into the state of the current Sunshine Coast economy and what trends we are seeing. He will also touch on Economy ID, what it is and what they are sharing regarding the projected resilience of the Sunshine Coast to global factors.

Brett Mills will share his experience after 20-years in business at Ken Mills Toyota. He will discuss the "three shocks" to the economy that he has had to navigate through - the Global Financial Crisis, Japan Tsunami and COVID - and how Ken Mills Toyota have forged forward despite these turbulent events. In addition to this Brett will also share what he is doing to prepare for 2023 and how others could approach the predicted downturn.
